The ultrasonic cleaning method is completely non-abrasive, thoroughly cleaning the entire surface of your appliance while causing no damage.

Can the Dental pod clean Aligners/Invisalign?

Yes, the Dental pod can effectively clean clear Aligners and Invisalign. All types of clear aligners have been thoroughly tested in the Dental pod with excellent and safe results.

Can the Dental pod clean Retainers?

Yes, the Dental pod can effectively clean oral retainers. The Dental pod was specifically designed and tested to clean both modern clear retainers and more traditional retainers with metal.

Can the Dental pod clean Night guards and Bite guards?

Yes, the Dental pod can effectively clean both night guards and bite guards. The Dental pod has been specifically engineered and tested to clean more than 14 types of guards.

Can the Dental pod clean Dentures?

Yes, the Dental pod is absolutely suitable for cleaning all types of dentures. All industry available types have been tested in the Dental pod and clean effectively and safely.

Can you put two appliances in the Dental pod at once?

Yes, the Dental pod is designed to effectively clean a pair of appliances at the same time.

Why doesn't the Dental pod have a UV light?

In certain situations, UV light can effectively sterilise objects. However, we decided not to include UV in the Dental pod for three reasons.

Is there an auto stop function?

Yes, the cleaning cycle will automatically stop after 5 minutes.

What temperature water should I use?

Always use cold tap water in your Dental pod.

Can I run multiple cleaning cycles?

Yes, you can run up to two consecutive cycles, ensuring that you have used cold water.

Should I clean my dental appliance everyday?

Yes, daily cleaning of your oral appliance with the Dental pod is recommended to ensure oral hygiene.

Does the Dental pod use a lot of electricity?

Not at all, when operating the Dental pods's electricity usage is equivalent to a table light and it only needs 5 minutes to operate per day.

Can the Dental pod clean jewellery?

This is not what the Dental pod was designed, engineered and tested to clean.

How do I clean the Dental pod after use?

Clean the Dental pod's stainless steel tank daily with a quick rinse with water and weekly using a soap and a damp soft cloth before rinsing.

Can I leave my appliance in the Dental pod overnight?

The Dental pod can act as a great storage solution for your appliance, but we recommend pouring away the solution before doing this to keep your appliance hygienic.

Can I share the Dental pod with my partner/family?

Yes, you can share your Dental pod. However, please note that this can increase the risk of infection.
